"The Bay Hotel is one of the best spots on the popular Camps Bay. With views directly out over the stunning beach, it is a great option but one that’s a taxi ride away from most of Cape Town’s tourist sites."

OVERVIEW:

Camps Bay is one of the best areas to stay in Cape Town, and the Bay Hotel is the ideal place to stay here.

ACCESS & LOCATION:

Although it is outside Cape Town centre, Camps Bay is still close to the main attractions such as the V&A Waterfront (5 miles) and Table Mountain (3 miles).

ACCOMMODATION & FACILITIES AT THE BAY HOTEL:

The hotel is set back from the main street and overlooks the beach. It features 78 rooms and suites, simply laid out but with all the amenities you would expect from a good quality hotel. The Bay Hotel itself has a range of good food and bar options but, with such a great central location, guests also have access to the many excellent restaurants and bars of Camps Bay.

ACTIVITIES AT THE BAY HOTEL:

The atmosphere at the hotel is very relaxed and guests have a good range of leisure options from the four pools, spa, gym and the neighbouring Camps Bay Tennis Club and Camps Bay Squash Club. Across the road is Camps Bay beach, one of the best beaches in Cape Town, but be warned as this is the Atlantic Ocean and the sea is colder than you might expect! It is an extremely lively little place with numerous bars and restaurants.
