OVERVIEW:
Yellow Zebra love this guest house for its incredible views and location for land-based whale watching. It is well worth upgrading to North Room or Ocean Suite, as guests have spotted whales from these rooms. Cliff Lodge is well known for its outstanding service – the owners Gideon and Gill, with their manager Nico, will make sure you have an amazing stay here.
ACCESS & LOCATION:
Cliff Lodge is in a residential area – but once through the doors, it is easy to forget this. It has a spectacular location on the cliffs above Walker Bay along South Africa's Western Cape.
ACCOMMODATION & FACILITIES AT CLIFF LODGE DE KELDERS:
The accommodation consists of four rooms and a suite in the guest house – all have sea views. North Room and Ocean Suite are the top rooms and have the best views of the ocean.
The main areas include a lounge area, conservatory and sea-front deck with incredible 180-degree ocean views. Right on top of the cliff there is a swimming pool and deck overlooking the sea.
ACTIVITIES AT CLIFF LODGE DE KELDERS:
- The main reason for visiting the Hermanus area is whale watching, but there are lots of other activities to keep you busy, such as shark cage diving and hiking along the coastal trails.
- You can also visit the southernmost tip of Africa, just an hour’s drive away, to enjoy the region’s wine farms.
