“This is the perfect spot if you are arriving late or departing early from Mahé, as it offers a luxury hotel just 5 minutes from the airport.”

OVERVIEW:

This sumptuous property is privately owned and run. We usually recommend it to clients seeking a B&B option on Mahé, before and/or after holidays on the Seychelles’ Outer Islands. The accommodation is booked on a B&B basis, and the hotel is open throughout the year.

ACCESS & LOCATION:

The hotel is accessed via 5 minutes’ road transfer from Seychelles International Airport. It’s situated on Eden Island, which is 100 metres off the north-eastern coast of Mahé and a mere 5 minutes’ drive from capital city Victoria. The island is home to the Seychelles’ international marina, and Eden Plaza, a substantial retail centre, is also nearby.

ACCOMMODATION & FACILITIES AT EDEN BLEU HOTEL:

There are 87 rooms in five categories, all very chic and contemporary in style. At entry level, the option we use most often for our clients, is the 7pm to 7am Room. Occupying 35 square metres of floor space, this option offers a comfortable sleeping area, with a double bed, bedside lighting, writing desk and chair, separate seating area, and a private balcony with pleasant views over the marina. In-room amenities include air conditioning, 42-inch satellite television, a tea-and-coffee station, a fridge, a safe, free Wi-Fi, complimentary bathrobes and slippers, and a hairdryer. The en-suite facilities feature a separate shower. Travellers staying for more than one night can choose between the following rooms – Standard, Deluxe Garden View, Deluxe Marina View, and Luxury Marina View. All these options offer more space than the 7pm to 7am Room. For further details, please contact a member of the YZ team.

The communal areas at Eden Bleu Hotel also have plenty of modern flair. In Bourgeois Bar, you’ll enjoy a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere in which to sample a few cocktails, as well as wines, beers, spirits, and soft drinks – and a few light meals and snacks too. Heartier dining options are available at the hotel’s Marlin Bleu Restaurant, which offers a big breakfast buffet, an all-day dining menu, and, for supper, various dishes à la carte. The restaurant adjoins Empereur Terrace, which stretches the full length of Eden Bleu’s main building and boasts breathtaking vistas over the marina towards the majestic mountains of Mahé. This is a great al-fresco setting for tucking in to delicious food and drink from the restaurant. You can also unwind in the highly inviting swimming pool!
