Now it’s time for the last part of your trip. You will remain in Hwange, transferring by road to Camp Hwange! This is a sumptuous camp in the western region of the national park. A major attraction here is the waterhole close to camp, in Shumba Pans, as this is popular with a lot of local wildlife. The communal lodge is constructed in the traditional style, from timber, stone, and thatch. It contains a large lounge, an elegant dining area, and a full bar. Just outside, there is a fire-pit! The guest accommodation at Camp Hwange consists of just eight tents, all with canvas walls and a thatched roof. Each is simply yet pleasantly furnished and includes a ceiling fan, comfy double or twin beds, a tea-and-coffee station, and en-suite facilities such as solar-heated shower. In front of every tent is an outdoor seating area, where you can relax and enjoy wonderful views of the waterhole! Other opportunities to check out the local wildlife abound, in game drives and spending time in Camp Hwange’s hides. You can expect to see such species as lion, elephant, buffalo, zebra, kudu, crocodile, and hippo! And the bird count is phenomenal too.

Board basis and activities:
Full-board accommodation including all meals, all beverages, all activities, parks fees, flying doctor, and a laundry service.

On Day 10, you will transfer by road back to Victoria Falls for your international flight home.
