From Victoria Falls the itinerary moves to the South Luangwa, which is Zambia’s most famous national park. Here you stay at Mfuwe Lodge, which is located in the game-rich Mfuwe area, before heading south to the more remote location of Chamilandu.

Days 1–2 Victoria Falls

This trip starts with two nights at The Victoria Falls Hotel, which boasts views over the Batoka Gorge and the famous Victoria Falls Bridge. The hotel is famous for its rolling lawns and superb high tea.

Board basis and activities:
The Victoria Falls Hotel is booked on a bed-and-breakfast basis. There are endless activities on offer at the Falls, from helicopter flights to elephant-back safaris.

Days 3–4 South Luangwa

From Victoria Falls, you fly on to Mfuwe via Lusaka for a two-night stay at Mfuwe Lodge, which is located in the prolific game area of the Mfuwe sector. The lodge's main area is pretty impressive, with massive open sides and double-height ceiling. It overlooks two lagoons, where the wildlife streams through.

Board basis and activities:
Mfuwe Lodge is booked on a full board basis with scheduled safari activities included. Timings of the drives and walking safaris are all discussed with you on arrival into the camp.

Days 5–7 South Luangwa

From Mfuwe Lodge, you will transfer south of Mfuwe to the remote camp Chamilandu Camp for a three-night stay. The chalets at Chamilandu are built on stilts and are all open fronted with spectacular views of the Luangwa river.

Board basis and activities:
Chamilandu is based on a fully inclusive rate with all meals, local beverages, and scheduled safaris included. Your programme will be discussed with you on arrival into the camp. Game activities on offer include bush walks and game drives.

On Day 8, you will fly back to Lusaka to connect with your international flight.
