On the first day of your adventure, you will fly out to Mfuwe to stay at Nkwali Camp. This property is positioned on the banks of the River Luangwa, within its own reserve. The communal lodge consists of a classic timber, stone, and thatch structure, containing a lounge, library, bar, and friendly atmosphere! Outside, there is a thatched dining space and a spacious swimming pool. You will stay in one of six bamboo-and-thatch chalets. Each chalet has well-appointed en-suite facilities, and it is open fronted so you can watch elephant crossing the river and enjoying a long cool drink without leaving your room! Other wildlife often seen around camp includes lion, leopard, and wild dog. You can expect to see these species on game drives and walking safaris too, in addition to plenty of herbivores. The nearest gate into the South Luangwa from camp tends to be quite busy, but Nkwali has its own pontoon so you can avoid the queues! Village tours are also available.

Board basis and activities:
Full-board accommodation, including all meals, a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, all safari activities, and a laundry service.
