On Day 1 of your honeymoon, you will fly out to Livingstone and transfer by road to Sanctuary Sussi & Chuma. The naming of this lodge after two friends of Dr Livingstone is entirely in keeping with its friendly atmosphere! Situated 12 kilometres upstream of Victoria Falls, near the River Zambezi and within Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, the property is away from the crowds yet close enough for easy access to the breathtaking waterfall. Communal spaces include a pleasant lounge, dining area, bar, and swimming pool flanked by sunloungers! You will stay in a Sussi Tree House – there are 12 of these altogether, each one raised on wooden decks and with lovely views of the riverbanks. Inside, there is an exquisitely made double bed, bedside tables and lighting, a lounge area, ample storage space, and a very well appointed en-suite bathroom. There is air conditioning too, to ensure you have a comfortable stay. Activities you can enjoy here include Falls tours on both the Zambia and Zimbabwe sides, canoeing excursions, game drives, walking safaris, fishing, white water rafting, helicopter flights, visits to the local school and village, trips to Livingstone Island, and romantic river cruises. The flights, island visits, and Zim tours incur an additional cost, but overall Sussi & Chuma provides outstanding value!

Board basis and activities:
Full-board accommodation, including all meals, a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, two activities daily, park fees, transfers between Livingstone Airport and the lodge, and a laundry service.
