Days 1–3 Zambezi National Park

This trip starts with three nights at Zambezi Sands River Camp. The camp is situated in a remote part of Zambezi National Park, right on the banks of the Zambezi River and upstream of Victoria Falls. As it is a 45-minute drive from Victoria Falls Town, we recommend Zambezi Sands to travellers who would like to experience all the fun of the Falls, while staying in a more remote location.

Board basis and activities:
Zambezi Sands River Camp is booked on an all-inclusive basis, including all food, drinks, and shared scheduled safari activities. Days are designed by the guides when you arrive in the camp, with game drives, walking safaris, boating safaris, guided tours of Victoria Falls (Victoria Falls National Park fee not included), canoeing, fishing, and sundowners drift at the camp all available.

Days 4–7 Hwange National Park

After a few days in Victoria Falls, you take a short light-aircraft flight directly into Wilderness Little Makololo’s airstrip. Wilderness Little Makololo is affectionately known as ‘Little Mak’ and the camp is located within its own private concession, guaranteeing exclusivity. It overlooks a waterhole teaming with wildlife. Wilderness Little Mak benefits from over 30 years’ safari experience, resulting in one of the best-quality safaris in Hwange and a great option for travellers who have an interest in Hwange’s cultural aspects as well as its amazing wildlife!
