This trip kicks off with hidden gem Tarangire before heading to the Ngorongoro Crater, the Serengeti… and finally Zanzibar. It’s the best private group bush-and-beach holiday available in Africa!

You’ll visit four superb properties. First up is Kuro Tarangire, a tented camp in the centre of the scenic national park. Afterwards, you’ll stay at Entamanu Ngorongoro, which has a fabulous location on the edge of the world-famous Crater! Serengeti Safari Camp is next. This is the oldest and one of the finest mobile properties that follows the Great Migration, moving between several sites to keep up with the herds. The safari camps we use are small and intimate, so groups of six persons will have a safari vehicle for their own use. Finally, you’ll head to Breezes Beach Club & Spa, a great resort on Zanzibar’s south-east coast.

Kuro offers expertly guided game drives, night drives, and bush walks. Entamanu’s activity list includes vehicle safaris in the Ngorongoro Crater, as well as highlands walks and cultural experiences. Once you’re at Serengeti Safari Camp, your focus will be following the Great Migration herds on game drives! And Breezes provides watersports, a variety of island excursions, and simply relaxing on the beach.

On the third day, you’ll return to Kuro Airstrip via shared road transfer and fly to Lake Manyara Airport, before travelling by shared transfer to Entamanu Ngorongoro. One of the region’s newer properties, this camp boasts superb views both into the Crater and north-west as far as the Serengeti, Olduvai Gorge, and the Gol Mountains beyond. Constructed with the intention of minimising disruption to the landscape, Entamanu’s main areas are found in a simple mess tent – we love the authentic vibe! The camp has six tented suites, which are also pretty simple yet very comfy with their gas-powered stoves. Entamanu offers a thrilling range of activities. For example, you can head down into the Crater for some seriously good game drives featuring the Big Five and many other mammals! You can also enjoy guided walks up on the highlands around the Crater rim. And interactions with the local Maasai are available too, for those who like to add a little culture to the mix.
