For the next part of your honeymoon, you will fly to the Serengeti! Here, you will spend time at two mobile camps, following the Great Migration as the huge herds move out of Kenya and the northern Serengeti down into the centre of the park. First up is Serengeti Safari Camp, another Nomad property and the oldest mobile camp in the area! Travelling hundreds of miles per year, this camp guarantees great sightings of the herds and even a touch of romance in offering a classic explorers’ safari. Guest accommodation consists of just six walk-in tents, all benefiting from eco-flush toilet and bucket shower. The camp has a friendly feel, and the guiding on game drives is exceptionally good. Come evening, everyone gathers around the camp fire to share safari stories!

Following your stay at Serengeti Safari Camp, you will transfer by air to your second property within this thrilling park! Also run by Nomad, Lamai Serengeti has a commanding position atop an immense rock kopje and boasts spectacular views. It’s a very grand finale to your safari, as this property oozes serious style! Lamai’s lounges and dining areas are very well appointed, while the swimming pool is ideal for chilling in the heat of the day. You will stay in one of twelve tents. Constructed from canvas, plaster, and natural poles, each has a classic safari feel. The interiors include a four-poster bed, mini-bar, and en-suite flush toilet, twin washbasins, and shower. Game drives from Lamai focus on the Great Migration herds, but you can look out for big cats and other predators, numerous herbivores, and hundreds of birds as well! Walking safaris are also available – and as at Serengeti Safari Camp, the guiding is excellent.
