On the third day of your trip, you’ll return to Lake Manyara Airport via private road transfer and fly to Lake Ndutu Airstrip, before a shared road transfer to Lemala Ndutu. This is one of our favourite Great Migration mobile camps! Located in the southern plains from December through to March, the camp focuses on the huge herds of herbivores as well as the local predators. Travel in February, and you’ll have opportunities to witness the Great Migration calving season, when approximately half a million wildebeest are born in a matter of weeks. The main activity is game drives, and there’s a wealth of wildlife to see in addition to the vast migration herds. There’s also the excellent ‘Lemala Cubs Club’, where children can go on nature walks around camp with the Maasai, as well as building their own bows and arrows for archery in front of the mess tent! You’ll stay in a two-bedroom tented suite, which consists of two Meru-style tents linked by a private living area.

Board basis and activities:
All-inclusive accommodation, featuring all meals, a selection of alcoholic and soft drinks, shared game drives, transfers between the camp and Lake Ndutu Airstrip, Wi-Fi, and a laundry service.
