Cape Town and Madikwe is one of our most popular family safaris. Starting with More Quarters in the City Bowl area of Cape Town, your family can explore everything the Cape has to offer before setting off for your Big Five safari in Madikwe.

This is one of our most popular malaria-free trips, using two of our favourite family-friendly properties. It combines a city break and time on safari to provide an excellent assortment of experiences! Cape Town never fails to thrill with its range of attractions, while Madikwe Game Reserve brings you some seriously good game viewing, including all Big Five.

The properties we use are More Quarters and Madikwe Lelapa Lodge, both from the portfolio of MORE, a family company. More Quarters is a stylish self-catering collection of 19 apartments and a four-bedroom house in a quiet street at the heart of Cape Town. And Madikwe Lelapa Lodge is fab for families, with comfy suite accommodation and a very long list of children’s activities too!
