Great for groups, this tailor-made trip offers an amazing mix of activities, not least exceptionally good game viewing at Laikipia, Greater Mara Conservancies and Diani Beach.
In total, you’ll stay at four first-rate properties. Ole Sereni is very conveniently close to Nairobi’s international airport, and it’s also adjacent to the city’s national park. Borana is an old-style Laikipia lodge with superb communal areas that really suit a large group! Kicheche Bush is situated in the Mara’s Olare Motorogi Conservancy, and it offers an authentic yet luxurious base from which to explore the region. Finally Almanara, on Diani Beach, has several three-bedroom villas that have their own kitchen, so they can be run independently from the rest of the property, but with your own staff to look after your every need!
Ole Sereni is one of our top options for stopovers, as the hotel provides plenty of fine dining, a spa, and a swimming pool. Once you’re in Laikipia, the focus will be wildlife viewing on expertly guided vehicle and walking safaris, with Borana Lodge offering horse riding, mountain biking, and helicopter trips too! The activity list at Kicheche also features game drives and walks, in addition to cultural experiences. And once at Diani, you’ll find lots of water-sports available from Almanara’s own water-sports centre. Deep sea fishing is possible as well, as are various dhow trips, land sports such as golf, and of course some laidback beach time.
