Days 7–9 Timbavati Private Game Reserve

KC_waterhole_2.jpg

Leaving the Cape, we fly to the Timbavati Game Reserve, one of South Africa’s finest private game reserves. Bordering the western edge of Kruger National park, the boundary is completely unfenced, allowing for the free movement of game between the park and the reserve – this makes for a phenomenal safari experience.

Kings Camp has an enviable location on the edge of a savanna plain looking out across an active waterhole, which attracts a large amount of game both during the day and at night. It has only 11 stone-and-thatch suites tastefully decorated in a contemporary style, each with an indoor and outdoor bathroom, as well as a private veranda.

Board basis and activities:
The Camp is booked on an all-inclusive basis including all food, drinks, and shared scheduled safari activities. Days are designed by the guides when you arrive in the camp, with standard game drives by day and night available as well as nature walks.

Here you will spend three nights at Leopard Hills Lodge, an exclusive property located in the western sector of the Sabi Sand. The lodge sits atop a rocky outcrop and overlooks an active waterhole on the plains below. With just eight individual glass-fronted suites, each with a private plunge pool and sun deck, Leopard Hills offers a truly relaxed and exclusive safari experience.
