This trip focuses on the Okavango Delta’s finest reserve and the game-rich Linyanti – home to some of Africa’s biggest game! This is one of the best solo traveller itineraries, as the properties we include charge a small single supplement and all meals are communal. The camps have a large solo traveller following!

The properties we use are Kwara Camp, Lagoon Camp, and Lebala Camp. Kwara is situated in its own concession within the northern region of the Delta and has a fantastic authentic feel! The location of both Lagoon and Lebala is the Kwando Reserve in the Linyanti, a reserve we love. All three camps are very adventurous, offering classic safari activities including day and night game drives, walking safaris, and, depending on the time of year, boating safaris too!

Days 6–7 The Linyanti

Lebala View From Hide.jpg

The final two nights of your trip are spent at Lebala Camp, which is also in the Kwando Reserve. Lebala is just a short light aircraft flight from Lagoon and it too has just eight tented chalets. The style is pretty rustic – this is a camp for keen safarists! The name Lebala means ‘wide open spaces’, inspired by the area’s sprawling plains. Day and night game drives are available here, as well as walking safaris. The local wildlife includes wild dog and other predators, and plenty of herbivores! Drives from Lebala tend to focus on seeking out the big game, while the walks, when possible, are perfect for checking out the small things on safari. The camp’s firepit is used every morning and evening, with guests gathering round to swap stories!

Board basis and activities:
Full board – early breakfast, brunch, afternoon tea, dinner, teas, coffees, water, selection of house alcoholic drinks. All activities are included too, and there is a laundry service.

On Day 8, you will be transferred through to Maun Airport for your international flight home.
