You will stay at Nxabega Camp and Xaranna Camp. Nxabega, a classic water camp, is situated in the western region of the Delta and offers classic safari activities as well as the opportunity to take time out and enjoy some together time. And Xaranna lies in the south-west of the Delta and provides an exhilarating range of things to do, all from a very sumptuous base camp!

Days 1-3 Okavango Delta (West)

Your adventure begins when you fly out to Nxabega Camp, in the Okavango Delta’s western region. The property is pleasantly positioned on an island, in the shade of ebony and leadwood trees and overlooking a channel of the Bora river. The communal areas include a comfortable open-plan lounge and dining room, featuring large armchairs, a bar, and a cosy fireplace. Outside, there is a spacious plunge pool! You will stay in one of Nxabega’s nine tented chalets, which were rebuilt last year (2016). All have big beds, well-appointed en-suite facilities, and a private veranda complete with swinging daybed – a lovely addition to each chalet! You can spend a lot of time simply watching out for wildlife from camp, but there are plenty of activities to tempt you into the wild – game drives, boat trips, mokoro excursions, and scenic helicopter flights. The resident wildlife includes lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, and hundreds of bird species!

Board basis and activities:
Full-board accommodation, including all meals, a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, all activities apart from helicopter flights, and a laundry service.

Days 4-6 Okavango Delta (South-West)

For the second half of your honeymoon, you will fly to Xaranna Camp, in the south-west of the Okavango Delta. This property’s name is inspired by the beautiful water lilies blooming on the waters of the Delta! Occupying its own island within a 272,000-hectare concession, Xaranna aims to offer the ultimate in luxury safari. The sumptuous communal areas include a lounge, an open-sided dining room, and an open-air boma, all with breathtaking views! Your accommodation here will be one of nine tented suites, featuring four-poster bed and private plunge pool. Activities on offer include game drives, boat trips, mokoro excursions, fishing, horseback safari, and helicopter flights! There is plenty of wildlife in residence – big cats, wild dog, huge herds of elephant and buffalo, hippos, antelopes, and oodles of birds such as the mysterious Pel’s fishing owl.

On day 7, you will return to Maun Airport and connect onto your international flight home.
