This safari is designed around three fantastic small properties. We start with the exceptional Lebala Camp in Linyanti – home to Africa’s biggest predators including a good population of wild dog – before moving on to Kwara in the Okavango. The trip then ends with three nights at San Camp, which lies on one of the world’s largest salt pans and offers unique game-viewing experiences along with cultural experiences in the company of the Bushmen.

Days 1–3 The Linyanti

The trip starts with three nights in the Linyanti region. Home to three of Africa’s finest private reserves, this is a first-class big-game area that’s famous for privacy, exclusivity (the major reason for the increase in cost over our value safari), and some of the best game viewing on the continent. Lebala Camp is a fantastic lodge with great views over the game-rich plains of the Linyanti. For anyone keen on seeing wild dog, this really is the camp to see them!

Lebala Camp is booked on an all-inclusive basis including all food, drinks, and safari activities. Days are designed by the guides when you arrive in the camp, with standard game drives by day and night available, as well as walking safaris – all included in the price.

Days 4–5 Okavango Delta

After three days at Lebala Camp, we fly in to the Okavango Delta, the jewel in Botswana’s crown. In this wetland paradise, lily-scattered floodplains and palm-fringed islands are features of Africa’s most stunning game-viewing environment, along with stacks of big game. Your home for the next two nights is Kwara, which is located in one of the Delta’s finest reserve for game viewing and offers some of the best boating in the country. This lodge was fully rebuilt in 2019 and is the flagship camp on the Kwara reserve.

Kwara is booked on an all-inclusive basis including all food, drinks, and safari activities. Days are designed by the guides when you arrive in the camp, with standard game drives by day and night available as well as walking, boating, and mokoro safaris (subject to water levels) – all included in the price.

Days 6–8 The Pans

After exploring the Okavango Delta, you will move into the Makgadikgadi Pans, a truly unique destination that gives you the chance of seeing uncommon species including meerkat, which have been habituated over the last couple of years. San Camp is also one of the few areas that offer a cultural experience and three nights here is the perfect end to any trip.

On Day 9, you will fly back to Maun in time for your international flight.
