If your schedule allows even just a few hours to check out Kenya’s capital city, you’ll find no shortage of things to do. The city boasts plenty of parks and gardens, ideal for a bit of a wander. And of course there are loads of shops, markets, cafés, restaurants, and bars!
You could begin by visiting Nairobi National Park, opposite the hotel. This area’s 117 square kilometres of grasslands, woodlands, streams, and ravines are home to lion, leopard, cheetah, black and white rhino, hippo, masses of plains game, and over 500 bird species!

Nairobi has a wealth of museums too – for example, the National Museum with its vast collection of artefacts, in addition to the Railway Museum, and also the Karen Blixen Museum, the former home of the Danish author.

Galaxy offers a buffet breakfast, all-day à la carte and snack dining, a tea-and-coffee dispenser, 24-hour room service, and a well-stocked bar! Spur is internationally renowned for its carveries and seafood, all with tempting salads. And the hotel’s coffee shop is open 24/7. Other amenities include a gym, two boardrooms, and three meeting rooms. Outside, there are well-kept gardens and a swimming pool – flanked by sunloungers, the pool is perfect for a little relaxation during your time here.
The hotel has 167 rooms, all with air conditioning and a chic contemporary style.

All options offer a LCD flatscreen television with DSTV, a direct dial international telephone, Wi-Fi hotspots (free of charge), a mini-bar, a coffee station, a safe, a hairdryer, an iron and ironing board, and en-suite facilities comprising separate flush toilet, washbasin, and rain shower.
