"Large and certainly somewhat commercial, Chobe Bush Lodge is located in the busy Kasane area of Chobe. Game viewing here is very good, albeit busy. A good option overall for families and clients looking to avoid the smaller tented camps."

OVERVIEW:

It is much larger than most of the lodges we recommend, however it should appeal to those who don't like smaller, more intimate lodges and appreciate having all the mod cons.

ACCESS & LOCATION:

Chobe Bush Lodge is a new lodge in Kasane. It is directly on the border with Chobe National Park, and just 150 metres from Chobe riverfront. It is well positioned as a gateway to Chobe, Victoria Falls and the Caprivi strip.

ACCOMMODATION & FACILITIES AT CHOBE BUSH LODGE:

The lodge aims at offering luxurious accommodation, with a touch of bush style. There are 38 luxury ensuite rooms with open plan bathrooms and 4 large family rooms with two separate bedrooms, each with its own ensuite. All rooms have air-conditioning and TVs.

Facilities include a cocktail bar, a bush restaurant serving both buffet and à la carte meals, a swimming pool, and various secluded decks where guests can enjoy sweeping views of floodplains and Chobe National Park.

ACTIVITIES AT CHOBE BUSH LODGE:

Game drives and game-viewing cruises are a particular highlight as the area is home to a diverse variety of wildlife. This includes elephant, buffalo, hippo, wild dog, lion, leopard, giraffe, impala and crocodile. Day trips to Victoria Falls are also available, as are day trips to the Okavango, private boat trips, scenic flights and fishing.

*This property is unfenced and located in a wildlife area, so large and potentially dangerous animals do pass through. If you opt to stay here, always be alert when walking around the camp and request for a member of staff to escort you if you have any concerns. Any guest is escorted after dark as a matter of course.
