Marina

A snapshot

Marina joined Yellow Zebra in 2024 to support all members of the Yellow Zebra team and help manage the office. She has experience working in start-ups and small businesses across a range of industries, as well as experience in the charity sector. Marina is also a certified coach and runs an online coaching business.

Most memorable experience

I am fortunate to have had so many, but my top 5 most memorable wildlife experiences would be:

1. Gorilla trekking in Uganda
2. Sighting an orangutan up close in the Danum Valley – a huge rarity!
3. Sighting a 24-strong lion pride snoozing under a tree in the Maasai Mara
4. Walking my dog on the Norfolk beaches with seals frolicking around us
5. Snorkelling in the Maldives.

Marina biography

Marina was born and grew up in Surrey. She went on to study Classics at the University of Edinburgh and the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

Marina caught the travel bug at an early age, taking her first solo trip abroad to visit a friend at just 9 years old. She’s been exploring the unknown and building connections all over the world ever since.
