Annabel was excited to join the Yellow Zebra team, having previously held marketing positions at a number of leading UK-based tour operators. Annabel loves the variety of marketing, whether that’s working on a newsletter or looking at ways to improve the experience clients have on the website.

Morocco, Mozambique, Seychelles, Tanzania, Zambia.

Most memorable experience

Snorkelling alongside seals in the Galapagos Islands, with humpback whales diving in the background. Or, toasting marshmallows above bubbling lava, having climbed to the top of an active volcano in Guatemala.

Annabel's biography

Born in Germany and raised in Kentucky for some of her childhood, Annabel is no stranger to foreign climes. However, it was a game ranger’s course at a wildlife rehabilitation centre in South Africa during her teenage years that truly opened her eyes to the rest of the world.

After school she went travelling for a year, starting her journey in India, where she taught English in a remote part of Rajasthan, and finishing up in a hammock on the beach in Mexico. From there, it made sense to try to indulge this love of the faraway with her academic side. She went on to read Tourism and Marketing in Bristol, where she gained a First Class BA Honours degree.

Since university, Annabel has taken every opportunity to travel the globe from St Petersburg to the Seychelles, Tuscany to Vietnam, Lithuania to Lisbon. Annabel has also now enjoyed a safari to Tanzania, as well as a honeymoon to Mozambique and Zambia with Yellow Zebra. It's safe to say she's firmly got the 'Africa bug'!
